Yaebe Welwolie Family
Yaebe feels called to support the dreams and goals of others
*Yaebe Welwolie is in the process of obtaining a foster care license. The process will complete once a match has been made.
My name is Yaebe Welwolie, and I live with my 14-year-old daughter in Maple Grove, Minn. We are so excited to open up our home to support someone in need. Our neighborhood is quiet and has many amenities. Shopping and bus routes are nearby. We hope to help somebody who is looking to increase their independent living skills. We are happy to welcome another person into our family and encourage their own interests.
When somebody moves into our home, they will have their own room and ample space to accommodate their personal belongings. The available bedroom is located on the upper level of the home and the bathroom is shared. Other shared spaces include two living areas, dining room, basement and the kitchen. Additionally, there is a deck that looks out onto a large backyard. I would encourage each member of the family to share in household responsibilities to the extent that they are able. We strive to be good communicators and believe in teamwork and accountability.
I volunteer with my church and participate in bible studies and my church’s women’s group events. Having a productive day at work, getting my job done and accomplishing my goals make up the best moments of my life. While I do belong to a Christian church, we are supportive of the different beliefs that others may hold and would encourage anybody to participate in cultural or religious activities of their own choosing.
I currently work as a residential coordinator within a community residential setting and consider it my natural calling to support the dreams and goals of others. I can serve and support an individual who may have medical needs, as well as mental health struggles. I am happy to make an ongoing commitment to the person I support because I love caring for people and ensuring that they are happy.
