Our Home & Family
I am Alison Wilson. My family consists of my four amazing children and our teddy bear puppy who is hypoallergenic and does not shed. My house includes three living rooms, two bathrooms, five bedrooms, and an open kitchen and dining space. The fenced-in, spacious backyard includes a basketball hoop, deck and swing set. Our home is located one block from a fantastic park, three blocks from Broadway and only five minutes from downtown Rochester.
The Reason We Open Our Home
I have spent the last 11 years as a caregiver and have provided daycare for the last three years. I have a strong desire to be of service to others while I offer support for them to achieve their hopes and dreams.
Our Traditions
Each summer we take a vacation — often to a cabin in northern Minnesota with our extended family. We love decorating together for Christmas and birthdays.
Our Faith and Values
I have a refrigerator covered with quotes that my oldest daughter has laminated. When we take a moment to read a phrase that impacts our hearts and minds, it is a great reminder that there is always something to be thankful for.
Our Hobbies and Interests
We like to color, work on art projects, explore, grill, and play games and sports. I love to be active and I enjoy working out at the gym. I also love to read while relaxing at a coffee shop or library.
