Dwire Family
Dwire family ready to share their love and home with someone new
We are Jeremiah and Tanja Dwire, and we are excited to open our home in Verndale, Minnesota. Our home is a split level with a living room on both floors. The available bedroom is on the lower level and has a shared bathroom. We have a lot of love to share, and we hope that whoever chooses our home as their home will feel that love and want to share their own with us.
We have six children, and three of them still live at home with us who range in age from 12 to 15. Our adult children range in age from 21 to 27. We also have four dogs, three of which live in the home.
In our home, we follow a Christian lifestyle. We pray together and participate in devotionals and bible studies. Our whole family is very active in our church by volunteering and participating in church events. We also have an active ministry in the country of Haiti, serving widows and single mothers.
We love to spend time at the lake or on the river in the summer. We love to garden, go to the movie theater, play board games, and cook and bake. Jeremiah loves to be busy and enjoys outdoor projects like rebuilding his boat or working in the wood shop. Tanja is happiest when her family is happy and providing for their needs. She also enjoys reading, kayaking, watching movies and gardening. Our adult children are also around a lot, and we love spending time with them.
Everyone helps with chores when they can. The new member of our household would only be expected to do what is within their capacity, but we hope they are mindful to be clean and be respectful of the shared spaces. We would ask new members of our home to have patience and grace in getting to know us and vice versa.
Tanja works outside the home, while Jeremiah will be the main care provider during the day. We are open books, and communication is key in any relationship. We hope to help a new member of our family by supporting them in any way they may need and actively encouraging them to take the steps they need to meet their goals.
