Mover/Apartment Set-Up Volunteer for Refugee Services

Assist refugees resettling in their new home with pick-up and delivery of furniture donations. This role may also involve setting-up the new living space for newly arrived individuals or families. This role is an on-call volunteer opportunity: we will ask you for your general availability, and when the need arises, we will see if you are able to assist. In general, moves will be planned at least a week in advance. However, there may be times when an inquiry will be more urgent, such as when a donation must be picked up within a couple of days or we receive late notification of a refugee arrival.
