Mankato Crisis Nursery Donation
What We Do
The LSS Crisis Nursery understands that to provide a safe and nurturing home environment, there are times when parents can benefit from additional support. Parents dealing with emergencies or crises, such as sudden illness, housing problems, divorce or separation, or financial strains, may need time alone to resolve the crisis.
The LSS Crisis Nursery supports parents by providing short-term, emergency childcare for children ages 12 and younger. Emergency care requests vary from a few hours to 72 hours. The LSS Crisis Nursery also provides parents with crisis support, referrals to community resources and personal care items such as diapers and wipes.
Project Location
Collect supplies at your congregation and deliver to LSS' offices located at 710 South 2nd Street, Mankato, MN, 56001.
What You Can Do
Donate items needed by families. Many families are not able to afford basic necessities, like diapers and wipes. Distributing these items to families is a first step in establishing ongoing relationships that can lead to positive conversations about strengths, opportunities for growth, goals and futures plans.

- Diapers (size 3 to 6).
