Hygiene Kits for Foster Care

What We Do

LSS believes every child needs a safe place to live, and caring, supportive relationships to thrive. LSS foster care serves youth from infancy to age 18 who need out-of-home care, youth and young adults with therapeutic needs and young adults ages 18-21 who meet certain eligibility requirements. Our goal is to reunify children to their family and community whenever possible.

What You Can Do

For youth experiencing foster care, access to basic hygiene items provides dignity and promotes health. You can support youth by purchasing needed supplies, assembling hygiene kits and delivering them to LSS (please see contract information below to arrange a drop-off time).

Project Details

To create a hygiene kits, place one of each item listed below into the reusable tote bag or shower caddy:

• Reusable tote bag or shower caddy.

• One deodorant.

• One full-sized shampoo.

• One full-sized conditioner.

• One toothbrush.

• One full-sized toothpaste.

• One full-sized body wash.
