Join LSS in making a difference in your community by sharing your time and talents!

LSS' nearly 8,000 volunteers help expand the reach of our services, which touch the lives of 1 in 63 Minnesotans each year. As neighbors helping neighbors, LSS volunteers play a vital role in advancing our mission to inspire hope, change lives and build community.

Volunteer Opportunities

At LSS, there are many meaningful ways to share your time. Volunteer opportunities vary by geographic area, type of services and time commitment. Find the perfect match for your interests and skills by searching our current opportunities.

Learn + Serve + Give Events

Serve and support your neighbors in partnership with LSS through a Learn + Serve + Give event! These dynamic events provide groups of all sizes with the opportunity to learn about a societal issue impacting our neighbors, serve through a hands-on project, and give via volunteerism, in-kind donations or financial support. Learn more here.

Learn + Serve + Give events can be held virtually or in-person at a site of your choosing. For more information or to schedule a Learn + Serve + Give event for your group, contact us by completing this form or contacting LSS Volunteer Services at 651.696.2259 or [email protected].
