Keys to Success: Class on Rental Basics for Property Owners

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota (LSS) will offer Keys to Success, a Zoom class to help people planning to rent their residential properties learn the basics. Keys to Success will address tenant selection, leases, laws and tenant/owner communication. The three-part class will also be relevant for seasoned owners and managers who want to learn about new renter protections that are in effect in Minneapolis and soon will be in St. Paul.

As part of the class, community experts will also share their knowledge and tips for success. Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions of speakers as well.

The Keys to Success class, offered via Zoom, is a collaboration between St. Paul Community Education and Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota. Classes will be held on Tuesday evenings, October 13, 20 and 27, from 6:00-7:30 p.m. for a total cost of $20.

Lutheran Social Service will be covering its successful RentEd. online property owner education video course. At the end of the class, participants can get a RentEd. certificate of completion that provides a discount on rental licenses in some cities.
