Julie Gontjes
Northeast Parent Guide
Julie Gontjes recently joined MNH&V as the Northeast Parent Guide. She has lived in Duluth for 20 years and loves the community. Julie raised her three kids here, and they are all now in their early 20s. She has a young grandson that she adores, and they are often at the library or playground together. Julie's youngest son is Deaf. He went through the Duluth Public Schools district and is now a student at the University of Minnesota Duluth studying environmental sciences. Julie is passionate about connecting families and advocating for DHH kids. She and her kids have attended MNH&V events for many years, and she is excited to now pay it forward and support families in Northeastern Minnesota!
