Suzanne Iwainat

Suzanne has been in connection with MNH&V since 2005 and started her position as a Parent Guide in 2017. For her position, she volunteers her time on the East Central DHHS Advisory Board for her region. Her goals for herself and MNH&V are to incorporate more social events for families to connect with each other and take part in educational advocacy trainings from the MNH&V ASTra team.
Suzanne lives in the central area with her husband and their two children, both of whom have a hearing difference. Recently, Suzanne graduated with a degree in early childhood education and is now an elementary school teacher. She enjoys working with children and in her previous career she worked as a paraprofessional for four years. Outside of work, Suzanne enjoys spending time with her family camping, kayaking, swimming, visiting national parks, and going to musicals and plays.
