2022 is a big year for elections. All residents of Minnesota will be voting for the following offices: U.S. Representative, Governor and Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, State Auditor, Attorney General, State Senator, State Representative, judicial seats and other offices, depending on polling location. Enter your address to see a sample ballot for your precinct.

Voting is a right. Your employer must pay you for the time you need to vote if it falls within your scheduled work time. Your employer cannot require you to use personal leave or vacation time. Your employer cannot directly or indirectly refuse, limit or interfere with this right, including what time you choose to vote. The Minnesota Secretary of State website offers more information on Election Day voting, including where to vote, what your rights are and how to receive help on Election Day if you need it. Early voting is available from Friday, September 23 to Monday, November 7.

Not sure if you’re registered to vote? Check your status on the Secretary of State website. If you’re not registered, you can register online, on paper, or at your polling location on Election Day.
