Enhancing the Well-being of
Minnesota Older Adults.

LSS partners with older adults and their families to meet their personal needs and support meaningful healthy lives. Our vision is that all people have the opportunity to live and work with dignity, safety and hope.

Healthy Eating LSS Senior Nutrition and Meals on Wheels ensure that older adults can continue to lead independent lives with community dining centers and nutritious home delivered meals at affordable cost.

Caregiver Support Trained respite care volunteers come into the home to provide short-term, non-medical care while the primary caregiver takes a much needed break.

Care Coordination Professional LSS staff assist older adults in managing their personal, health care and financial needs. LSS works with legal representatives, care providers, financial institutions, and other organizations to optimize an individual's quality of life.

Companionship Older adults befriend vulnerable older adults to lend a helping hand and battle the affects of isolation that sometimes comes with aging. LSS provides transportation to medical appointments and other errands to homebound clients.

Customized Living Services for Older Adults A customized living service for older adults includes home management, chores, meal preparation, and assistance with personal hygiene in the older adult's apartment. Available in these Minnesota counties: Clay, Goodhue, Ottertail, Stearns Counties. Call 1-888-242-0012 for additional information.

Partners in Community Supports (PICS) Partners in Community Supports, an LSS subsidiary, is a Fiscal Support Entity (FSE), and serves individuals with disabilities, the elderly, people affected by brain injury, and their families who choose the Consumer Directed Community Support (CDCS) option. PICS helps its clients coordinate the many financial processing and billing tasks involved with CDCS.

Volunteer Opportunities LSS coordinates and trains older adult volunteers. Volunteers may mentor young children and youth, befriend a senior, or assist other vulnerable clients depending on the volunteer's choice. Volunteer leader positions are also available.
