Senior Health and Wellness Services
LSS Senior Nutrition collaborates with local public health partners to offer education, exercise and other support services to enhance the overall health and well-being of older adults. Programs may include footcare, blood pressure checks and other health screenings.

LSS Guardianship Options partners with Public Health Departments throughout the state of Minnesota to help individuals who meet the legal and necessary requirements for Guardianship/Conservatorship services to achieve the least restrictive environment for living and maintaining financial stability.
LSS works closely with Public Health through team meetings, communications with staff directly involved with each individual and ongoing commitment to serve each individual based on their unique needs.

Senior Companion Services
The LSS Senior Companion program provides companionship services and transportation to frail elders eligible for services in more than 50 counties.
Clients are often referred to Senior Corps staff by county or health plan case managers to be matched with screened and trained Senior Companion volunteers. Senior Companions provide non-medical, in-home support to enable frail elders to maintain living in their own homes.

Public health agencies, senior housing, and other nonprofits partner with LSS Senior Corps to serve children and older adults in their communities. Caregiver Support and Respite Services
LSS Caregiver Support and Respite Program is committed to enhancing the health status of family caregivers by providing caregiver services.
Our goals are to reduce caregiver burden, increase caregiver skills, competency and confidence, increase access to supportive services, improve mental and physical health, and to assist caregivers in caring for their loved one at home for as long as possible.
