Services for Older Adults

Partners

Adult and Community Education

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota (LSS) is committed to developing mutually beneficial partnerships with organizations that provide community education to promote and support the health and well-being of older adults and their caregivers.

The nature of these relationships builds upon the strengths of each partner. In some circumstances, LSS is called upon for its expertise to provide education and outreach. In others, LSS provides a forum or location for community organizations to provide classes and other services that benefit older adults.

Caregiver workshops and speakers

Training and education sessions are provided on many caregiver-related topics.  These groups are given to community church groups, senior providers, and other organizations.  The goal is to find, support, and inform family caregivers.
