Meals for Safe House Emergency Youth Shelter

Safe House is an emergency shelter providing services for youth (ages 16-21) experiencing homelessness.  Safe House offers young people a safe and supportive living environment, access to basic needs, and case management.  Staff and youth work one to one to create individualized plans towards stability, independence, and a bright future.

Please support us with:

  • Dinners that can feed eight hungry young adults and contains a main dish, a side dish, and a veggie. Milk, juice, fruit, and dessert are also much appreciated. (No hot dishes please). Example of a preferred meal: Baked Chicken, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, and Green Beans delivered to the home between 5:00 pm and 5:00 pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
  • Morning bunches (such as bagels, fruit, juice, egg bakes, etc.) to be prepared at a volunteer’s home and delivered between 10 am and 11 am Saturday or Sunday.

Please do not include any pork in the meals due to dietary restrictions. Please drop off dinners that are completely prepared with only heating necessary.
