Training and Education Center (TEC)
Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota believes training our clients will lead to more successful employment opportunities. Our Training and Education Center (TEC) offers a wide array of opportunities for individuals seeking assistance in finding employment. We desire to see our clients employed and excelling in their careers and we believe equipping individuals with excellent training plays a vital role in job satisfaction. Our training program empowers individuals to develop skills that make them ready for employment. We offer a variety of customized training courses that are held on and off site that focus on specific careers.
Resources and Activities (TEC):
LSS Employment Services offers a variety of resources and activities in the Training and Education Center (TEC).
Computer Training (TEC):
LSS Employment Services offers one on one and small classes to help individuals learn more about how to use computers.
Job-Specific Training (TEC):
Throughout the year, LSS Employment Services offers customized training courses geared towards training individuals who are interested in specific careers.
CASAS (TEC):
CASAS Assessments help clients, employers and job counselors accurately assess the English, Listening and Math levels of individuals.
