Professional Experience: Located in the Moorhead office, Monica Douglas is the Senior Director for LSS Senior Nutrition serving 39 counties in Minnesota. She is also the Senior Director for the LSS Caregiver Support & Respite Service serving in 20 counties in Minnesota. Douglas is a 35-year veteran with a passion to make a difference in the lives of seniors by finding innovative ways to serve them so that they may continue to live independently in their homes and prevent premature institutionalization. She provides overall leadership and management of the congregate dining, meals on wheels and caregiver respite services in Northwest, Central and South/Southwest Minnesota. Douglas is an active member on the Minnesota State Nutrition Directors Association and has played a longstanding role on the Northern Plains Aging Conference Committee.
