Fantasy Flight to the North Pole

To Promote Adoption of Children in Need of Families

WHAT:   Through the generosity of Pilots for Kids, Delta Airlines employees will host Flight to the North Pole, a day of family-friendly activities that include a magic show and refreshments. Mascots from several of the local sports teams have been known to join the event.  Following the festivities, the children board a Delta aircraft and become a passenger on a "flight to the North Pole."  They will have a sing-along of holiday favorites with the flight attendants, like Jingle Bells and Santa Clause is Coming to Town and write letters to Santa.  The kids have a special surprise as they land at the North Pole, Santa!

There are 489 children in foster care in Minnesota who need permanent, loving, adoptive families immediately.  We’re looking for adoptive parents who can provide love, guidance and structure to children. We especially need families for older children and sibling groups who need to remain together when adopted.
