Fantasy Flight to the North Pole
To Promote Adoption of Children in Need of Families
WHAT: Through the generosity of Pilots for Kids, Delta Airlines employees will
host Flight to the North Pole, a day of family-friendly activities that include
a magic show and refreshments. Mascots from several of the local sports teams
have been known to join the event. Following
the festivities, the children board a Delta aircraft and become a passenger on
a "flight to the North Pole."
They will have a sing-along of holiday favorites with the flight
attendants, like Jingle Bells and Santa Clause is Coming to Town and write
letters to Santa. The kids have a
special surprise as they land at the North Pole, Santa!
