Nancy Rosemore

Associate Vice President of Services for People with Disabilities


Areas of Expertise: Changing trends in disability services, person-centered supports including new living options for people with disabilities, adult foster care, human rights for people with disabilities.   

Education and Licensure: BA, Communication Disorders, Bridgewater State College

Professional Experience: Nancy Rosemore is the Associate Vice President of Services for People with Disabilities. Nancy’s passion for supporting individuals to live in community is backed by 30 years of professional experience. After 24 years with LSS, she is most proud of her involvement in helping people with disabilities make the transition from institution-based care to community living. She is driven to assure that every individual with a disability has access to the flexible services they need while supporting their freedom to make important choices that increase overall quality of life. Nancy was recently appointed to the MN State Council on Disabilities (MSCOD) and is an active member of Lutheran Services of America Disability Network. In 2011, she attended the United Nations Third Session of the Conference of States Parties to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities whose mission is to promote, protect and ensure the full and equal enjoyment of all human rights and fundamental freedoms by all persons with disabilities and to promote respect for their inherent dignity. She has also served on theMinnesota Department of Human Services Quality Council, ARC Board of Directors in Brainerd and on the Board of Directors of ARRM.

Media Appearances: Nancy has often served as a resource on news stories over the years and recently helped develop the 2011 documentary on Minnesota’s history of service to people with disabilities called “Institutions to Independence,” a co-production of tpt public television and Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota.
